  • City ice increased by 3%
  • There were 80 active officals, 25 of those were new to officiating
  • University of Calgary scholarship now named the’Don Henderson Memorial Ringette Scholarship"
  • There were 756 players registered with Ringette Calgary on 60 teams - Bunnies-6, Novice-11, Petite-13, Tween-12, Junior-7, Belle-4, Deb-5, Intermediate-2
  • The World Championships were held in St. Paul, Minnesota from March 19-27. Coaching staff included Karen White, John Fisher, Deb Marek
    Results: Gold - Finland, Silver- Canada EAST, Bronze- Canada WEST
  • BNQ certified neck guards became mandatory
  • The president of the CRRA was Robyn Schweitzer, and the referee scheduler was Kathy Pennett,
  • Ringette Calgary required all head coaches to attend a mandatory coaches meeting - two meetings were held, one on Tuesday, October 12 and the other on Wednesday, October 13th.
  • There were two NCCP Level 1 Clinics held in Calgary, and one level 2.
  • The CRRA hosted a refresher clinic, two NOCP level 1 clinics and one NOCP level 2 clinic.
  • Ringette Alberta implemented their COACHING DEVELOPMENT PLAN, which would raise the minimum coaching requirements over a span of several years.
  • Properties Ringette held a Fundraiser Dance on Friday, October 22
  • Ringette Canada released the new GYM RINGETTE RULES, and Ringette Calgary purchased gym ringette equipment to loan to schools or teams.
  • Ringette Alberta introduced a new DISCIPLINARY POLICY which was put together by Erik Laerz of Calgary. The new policies meant that mandatory suspensions would be issued for serious penalites.
  • Ringette was offered as a Physical Activity Course at the University of Calgary
  • AA Provincials were held in Edmonton from March 11-13, 1994.

The 8th annual Esso Golden Ring was held Jan.28-30, 1994
and hosted Bunny through Womens.  There were 139 teamsn in 19 divisions.
