- We hosted 186 teams in 18 divisions - in addition to the 105 Calgary teams there were 59 teams from other parts of Alberta, and 20 out of province teams.
- There were 355 Games on 483 hours of ice. The ice bill was $68,000.00.
- There were 82 on-ice officials refereeing tournament games. Referee game fees for the tournament total $17,400. The cost of "importing" referees and transporting them is an additional $5000. Plus, hotel rooms are provided free of charge to all out of town officials. Transportation is also provided to out of town officials to all of their games through volunteer drivers.
- Thanks to the many volunteers from Calgary teams who filled the more than 600 volunteer slots.
- Participants in the 2010 Esso Golden Ring received a lapel pin, a souvenir poster, a pen and a cinch pack. In addition, coaches packages contained misc. coupons, chips, and donated items.
- Committee members accumulated 372 draw prizes for players, including 186 custom Esso Golden Ring practise jerseys so every team received 2 draw prizes.
- All Bunny and Novice teams (40) received participation medals for their friendship series.
- The Hospitality Night was held for the first time at Crossroads Community Center.
- The EGRT hosted NRL regular season league games at the Open AA level.

- We hosted 186 teams in 18 divisions - in addition to the 105 Calgary teams there were 59 teams from other parts of Alberta, and 20 out of province teams. Thanks to Geoff Gorai, our new Technical Director - along with Iveah, Marlayne and the many helpers in the control center.
- There were 351 Games on 475 hours of ice. Thanks to Iveah for another great job with the game schedule.
- Thanks to the many volunteers from Calgary teams who filled the more than 600 volunteer slots. And, thanks to Laura and Mary Pelland for overseeing the volunteers, to Shelley Geddes for scheduling shot clock operators, and to Linda Shorter for scheduling the Minor Officials. All volunteers were given a thank you letter and either an Esso Golden Ring lapel pin or pen.
- Participants in the 2010 Esso Golden Ring received a lapel pin, a souvenir poster, a pen and a cinch pack. In addition, coaches packages contained misc. coupons, chips, and donated items.
- Each team received 2 draw prizes – one being an Esso Golden Ring practice jersey. Thanks to The Ringette Store for donating the jerseys and to the many other sponsors who donated items for prize draws, including Stinger Sticks who donated 48 sticks.
- The Hospitality Night was a big hit again this year at Crossroads Community Center with over 500 attending. Treats included hot dogs (thanks Jim!), baby carrots, beverages and lots of fun. Thanks to Sandi McNeill and Joan Hammond for another great job.
- All 10,000 raffle tickets were sold, with half going back to the Calgary teams who sold the tickets. Thanks to Teresa Merritt for organizing tickets and to Marlayne and Laura for attaining the prizes. A special thanks to Michele Caron for the Westjet tickets donation through his volunteer work.
- Kristen Underwood and Kim Wittner did referee scheduling and imported out of town officials. Thanks to Murray Todd and Lonnie Krahn who handled out of town referee transportation. New this year the tournament paid for 2 evaluators to come in hopes that we will attract more referees.
- Thanks to those from the referee association who gathered donations and supplied the officials rooms with water and snacks.
- Press coverage was awesome this year thanks to the efforts of Michele Caron who issued several press releases. We had several radio spots, broadcasts from arenas and TV cameras frequented the arenas.
- Murphy Photography came out and took pictures (gratis) of all the champions, and submitted them to the Herald where they were printed on the Wednesday following the tournament.
